(Welcome to) the Machine

This is a post about the beasts of revelation but I have given it the title, "The Machine" because, in many respects, the beasts are akin to machines, unconscious automata.  However, first, a little diversion, a brief story.

Many years ago, while in my late twenties, I went on a camping trip with some friends, not all that far away but to the high plains and alpine region of Victoria.  We camped by a river and, on one particular day, we decided to visit one of the local mountains, Mt Buffalo, to walk up to its summit and watch the sun set from there.  After that, we began descending along the path we had come and, as the light faded, thousands of Bogong moths had come out of their hiding places.  I say thousands but really I think it was more like hundreds of thousands.  It was a veritable sea of moths, one could not see more than half a metre ahead and the dimming light of dusk immediately turned into pitch black.  Fortunately, I had brought a flashlight with me so that I could still just make out the path right near my feet.  It was an absolutely astonishing sight!

However, something really struck me about this event, the kind of thing a curious mind notices.  In spite of all the moths flying in all different directions and having no synchonisation of the movements of their wings, there was a loud and unvarying hum, a very distinct low frequency note, heard against a background of a much fainter sound of rushing air, what one would call "white noise".  It was as if there was one giant moth.

It is actually the result of a statistical phenomena, slightly analogous to wind in which, although individual air molecules are all rushing about at incredibly high and highly varied velocities in all directions, an underlying similar bias in the direction of a majority of air molecules combines in the sum of all their motions to create an overall gentle breeze.  A clearly distinct and quite strong note was heard from the mass of moths even though they were not flapping their wings unidirectionally in unison, much like a large number of trumpet players all blowing similar notes and doing so in every conceivable direction.  Since the sounds are pressure waves moving through gas, they each have a temporal component, but the apparent paradox arises as a result of the common note which stands out amidst all the chaos and which also must have a well defined temporal variation to be a note at all.  How can thousands of randomly phased waveforms, despite their similarity, combine to produce a temporally defined pattern?  It seems strange but that is the nature of the summation of a large number of randomly phased and randomly directed, temporally similar energy waves, the well defined note shows up in calculations as a significant statistical artefact amid the randomly combined waveforms.  We do not perceive amplitudes of waves, but we perceive their power, that is, their rate of energy transference.

Now, this phenomena may seem trivial, since it is so commonplace, everywhere we listen and observe, that we tend not to think about it in any real depth, but it gives a rather interesting insight into the phenomenon of the "beasts" of Revelation.

Consider any nation or, more specifically, a human culture, and this principle also applies to any human collective, such as large corporations, oversized governments, etc, but here we will focus on national cultures.  The nature of a culture is that it has traits which result from commonly accepted beliefs and practices and it lacks traits connected to uncommon beliefs and practices even though such beliefs and practices exist within the culture.  The culture's characteristics are essentially statistical artefacts arising from the more widespread tendencies of belief and action.

Now, consider what happens when, despite all the members of a given culture going about their daily lives relatively unsynchronised with each other and doing different things, going to different places, holding many differing views, what happens when there is a view or a practice with a common, dominant (in frequency of occurrence) characteristic, even something seemingly innocuous born of what could rightly be called idolatry?  I should point out that a person's idol is that around which his or her life mostly revolves, the dominant "centre of gravity", especially in one's thought life since action is consequential to thought, and it need not be something a person is conscious of.  We often behave in ways we are not aware of until it is brought to our attention.  If the primary concern of a culture lacking the Spirit of God is money, the earning, saving, investing and aversion to the spending of it, if most of what people in a culture do engages in monetary transactions in spite of such having an apparently low level or background role, something to which we are mostly relatively unconscious, would not the sum effect of their actions result in an overall cultural trait of lusting after wealth in spite of the fact that all the individual actions of individual people are different and seemingly unrelated?  Is it not the case that almost all that we hear about from western governments is "the economy this" and "the economy that" as if there was little or nothing else in the world that mattered?  The Lord warned us specifically on the sin of the love of money for a reason.  He knew it would become an ever greater idol, a means used by the powerful to control the masses, as it already was back in the day.

The result of much economic activity is an unconscious but strong, residual force, like wind, with an overall well-defined characteristic, in this case an unconscious force for the pursuit of monetary gain (although that is not the only evil trait we see) and woe betide anything or anyone which stands in its way as such will be utterly crushed by the sheer weight of millions of tiny actions pressuring motion in an overall dominant direction which, although all of the actions are for many apparently different purposes, all pulling in myriad different directions, their effects mostly tend to cancel in their sum except for the common residual component resulting in one powerfully dominating characteristic.  Such a notion well defines the means by which are manifested the characteristics of a "beast".  It is not a conscious entity, not an individual as many incorrectly posit, it is not "the antichrist" as so many ignorantly declare, though it could well be called a spirit of antichrist, depending on its nature.  It is simply a collective entity with a set of dominant behavioural characteristics defined by the dominant near-unconscious desires of the members of the collective.  With regards to this phenomenon, one cannot point at any one individual and make accusations of an evil nature without being a hypocrite.  The wild and destructive characteristics of the beasts of Revelation are the resultant statistical artefacts of the massive combination of the dominant inclinations of millions of individuals when their moral centre is, for the most part, not anchored in the true Ever Living God.  Naturally, this only grows worse as apostasy takes ever increasing hold on people throughout the world, as the moral centres of rapidly increasing numbers of people deviate ever further from a right focus, God, to a wrong one, money and self.  Our mass media bombards us with this pernicious influence every day, every night, relentlessly promoting every kind of something which, in its background at the very least, if not blatantly, involves monetary transactions.  Not love for your neighbour, not the pursuit of justice and righteousness in accordance with the eternal law, not caring for the downtrodden, not freeing the oppressed, and most definitely not the pursuit of a relationship with God, no, none of that.  Only the pursuit of wealth and pleasure.  Bread and circuses.

The beasts of Revelation are unconscious, collective entities, not unlike monstrous machines, whose heads are the primary governing groups in power and whose bodies are the body politic, and which gain their distinctiveness, their definition, their apparent manifestation into existence by the various statistical artefacts resulting from millions of incremental non-God-centred actions with some similar traits, even though all those actions are largely seemingly unrelated to each other, and the resultant characteristics of the beasts tend to revolve around the common evils of mankind.  It is the more-often-than-not common attributes that give a beast its collective characteristics and it is called a wild beast because it "behaves" in a manner not unlike a mindless, wild beast.  Naturally, in understanding this, we would expect these beasts to wax worse, more powerful and more destructive, as the world mostly moves further away from Christ and the Judeo-Christian basis of our western civilisations and, well, that is exactly what is happening.

We have no need of global conspiracies, even though it is arguable (and I do believe) that such things exist, but it takes a lot of influence to redefine the more common tendencies of entire cultures, the near unconscious thoughts of most, if not all, of the people, thus the need for billionaires, powerful financial corporations and governments driven on by their own lusts, as facilitators of the devil's plan to turn mankind entirely away from God.  The fullness of this scheme will be realised at the appearing on the world stage of the one who, in the holy scripture, is called "that Wicked" and "the son of perdition".  It is already clear to me that the restraint God had on the growing evil in the world is almost entirely lifted, in order to bring about the end of the age.  In this age of the Internet and global social media now controlled almost entirely by a handful of corporations and increasingly constrained and censored by godless government bureaucratic busy-bodies and assorted evolution-deluded NGO's and global organisations, it is no surprise that the evil plan is manifesting at an alarming rate.  Such overwhelming influence would have been nigh on impossible only a few decades ago.

We may have advanced technologically but the world is still mostly bereft of sound morals and, with such technology at its disposal, it will only result in one thing; self annihilation.  Thus the need, according to the Lord's own words, to "cut that time short for the sake of the elect."  Nuclear war is a certainty as far as I can tell, because many in high places would rather unleash it instead of letting go of power.  After all, too many of them are where they are as a result of their pursuit of power over others.  Righteous people do not seek such, but the wicked invariably do.  The righteous seek only to correct that which is unjust.

The only true safety we have is in Christ, and in nothing and nobody else.  Trust God, not man, for goodness sake, not man.  Choose to trust God, and God alone.

It is fairly unusual for men to reach that age, more common for women although still infrequent.  In an old blog post years ago I wrote of a dream that a man had in the 1970's regarding presidents of the USA with respect to the end of the age.  The information is still available on-line at this page...

At the time, I mentioned that (if the dream was genuine prophecy) Carter would have to pass on by the time the great tribulation begins, finding my sense of what the dream means agreeing reasonably well with what was written about it (I generally try to discern things before entertaining others' explanations, even that given by the one who had the vision or dream, since it is often, though not always, the case that the dreamer himself does not understand the parable of the dream).  All the other presidents in the same row of houses (see the page on the dream) had already passed on.  The passage of the houses turns a corner, taking a different direction, suggesting to me at the time that with the passing of all in the first row, including Carter, there would be a great change of direction in the USA or even the world as a whole.  Although that was not a strictly incorrect view, it was not accurate in that it is probably not what the dream was primarily about.

 

In retrospect, it seems more likely that the final house depicted, which would be associated with Obama, indicates the beginning of the end of the USA.  I say that because during the time of Obama's second term, the Lord showed me on three occasions that the USA was coming to an end.  Perhaps it is coming true.  With the deep political, religious and cultural divisions in the USA which we are witnessing, it is difficult to believe that the coming presidential election will not be surrounded by extreme controversy at the very least, perhaps even things much more drastic.

In any case, I still have this deep gut feeling, which generally agrees with what is said about the dream, that the eventual passing of Carter will be a marker of some kind, an event that marks the end of one era and the beginning of another, an era not about a man but about a nation or even the world.

With all that is going on in the world, with the seemingly accelerating advance of time and events, I know it is difficult to keep anxiety at bay, finding myself affected by it from time to time.  Nevertheless, we absolutely need to keep trusting in God, for He cannot fail, because failure is not a characteristic of His Spirit and is, therefore, impossible.  Looking to man guarantees a flood of fear, but continually looking to the Lord will help to ease that angst.

God is ever present, ever involved, never think otherwise.  Just because He is often silent on issues does not mean He is not involved but, rather, that He is patient with us.  However, it is clear to me, especially given that He directed me, this morning, to read Isaiah 13, and afterward I watched the above-linked video, well, that simply tells me that He is readying Himself for the great and terrible day, and readying us with Him.

 

Stay strong in the Lord, trust not in man, not in Egypt or in Babylon, but only in the true Holy One, the Everliving God, calling on the name of Yeshua for forgiveness of sins and for direction of your steps.

About the Pope

There's a video which may (or may not) interest you, regarding how the pope is working at drawing back into his control all the protestant world, obviously seeking total power, in my view.  Of course, this has been going on for some time but it is becoming very clear to all who look and see and who listen and hear.  This video is of some considerable length but I recommend you take the time, if you can spare it, to watch, listen and consider what was said.  Although it is presented by Doug Batchelor, and I have, at times, found some things he says regarding scripture to be incorrect, in this case, he has something worth listening to.

Perhaps you recall my post regarding the inevitable reunion of the manmade churches because, of course, you cannot remove the root of something without destroying it, or, at least, not unless you are the Almighty Himself.  Since all the protestant denominations have their root in the Catholic Church then it is inevitable that, as the time of the return of the Lord is close at hand and all things are returning to what they were at the time of His departure, the protestant denominations will once again be under the power of the Roman pontiff, Pontifex Maximus, in essence the continuation of Caesar beyond the secular world and physical empire into a spiritual empire,.  This is being achieved by the effective renunciation of scripturally based doctrine by protestants who have, over recent decades, lost a love of the truth, now all too often despising it.  One only need observe the onslaught of "woke" ideology in virtually all, if not all, the protestant groups.  When fallen man becomes fat, he becomes complacent and soon forgets his Maker.  Wealth in the hands of corrupt humanity, and the love and pursuit of it, has led to this demise, proving yet again the words of the Lord absolutely prophetic and true; you cannot love both God and money.

 

Note, however, that there are many who will depart, and are even now departing, from the mainstream churches, and such are seen by those remaining as being apostates, but in many cases nothing could be further from the truth.  The churches are themselves the apostates with respect to Christianity but are being true to their pagan roots in ancient Rome.  As mentioned in a previous post, the true church was dispersed into the wilderness (the world) because it became corrupted with pagan ideas, thus drawing in idolators and repelling faithful worshippers of the true Everliving God.  Many true Christians have been largely "unchurched" over the centuries and this has gone on for 40 Jubilees since the Lord completed His work of opening the gates of hell to set us free, so that 40 lots of 50 years are completed upon His soon return to establish His kingdom on the Earth (the ancient parable being the 40 years of desert wandering for the ancient Israelites, starting from the time that God, working through Moses, set them free, then they corrupted themselves and ended up wandering in the desert for 40 years until the time when they entered the promised land).

So, don't fear what you see on that video, or what you see happening in the world, try not to let it worry you or cause you any anxiety.  It simply tells us that the time of the Lord's return is gobsmackingly near!  Stay true to the scripturally revealed doctrines, get your learning from the Lord (He said He would teach us Himself and I took Him up on that offer some 16 years ago and never looked back).  Never put your trust in man.  If he happens to be factually correct, it is often just dumb luck.  Heck, don't take my word for it... instead, test what you see, hear, read, and trust only God for the truth and for safety on His immovable rock.

Toward the Great War - Signs in the World

A note on the current developments progressing toward the great war... I have observed a Swedish call to arms in more than one news outlet over recent weeks but will provide only the one link here regarding the latest such concerns:

I do not believe that Carl-Oscar Bohlin, Sweden's minister for civil defence, is wrong on this count.  However, I think that his timing may be a little premature... but I'm no war strategist or prognosticator of politico-military moves and it is much better to prepare early and stay on alert.  My only concern in that regard is, if people prepare early with a false expectation of imminent war and it then appears too delayed, they may fall back into a false sense of security and become lax in their preparedness, the watchmen falling asleep on the tower, as it were.  In any case, I do think that Norway is also in the firing line and that, should push come to shove, Norway and Sweden will have to work together (although I am unclear on what Finland's role might be) to fend off the enemy.  I also believe that the Swedish military have some very advanced (possibly electromagnetic) high tech weaponry under wraps which they have until now successfully kept well out of the public and the espionage eye, and Russia will not be expecting this, but I cannot elaborate on it because information is very thin and my perspective may be not much better than a semi-educated guess.  In any case, I think that the Swedish military have been very tight-lipped and well understand that the best strategy in preparing for war in the current era is to look somewhat insufficiently armed.  That way, an attacking force will be completely unprepared and under-armed for the devastating onslaught of terrifying weaponry the moment they make their invasive move.  The approach of using grandiose public declarations of military might as a deterrent is an old tactic which works in situations of limited destructive power but is completely ineffective in today's high tech military sphere.  The capacity to destroy the entire world in the hands of more than one military power is no longer a deterrent to anyone.  If everybody is going to die, what manner of deterrent is that?  It can only work where a hot conflict would have strictly limited destructive effect, a condition which has not been true for many years, and only a fading memory of waning concerns about an overwhelming counterattack has kept things in check.

 

Anyway, my view, as you may have read in a post some time back, is that when Russia invades Europe, it will be in three fronts; from the southeast in the Balkan region, from the east via Ukraine and possibly into any of Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, etc., and from the north towards the scandinavian region, but every one of these three prongs will ultimately converge on Germany (remember, there is bad blood, flowing deep in cultural memory, between Russia and Germany since the NAZI slaughter of many millions of Russian POW's and civilians) and perhaps towards France, also, though I do not believe they will have much success there even though I think that France will have its own growing internal chaos.  Central and western Europe will be devastated in the end of it all, and surrounding nations will also be harshly affected, and that is before it all goes nuclear at the end of the greatest and final war.  However, an eventual divergence of Russian forces towards the south, into the region of the Middle East, and ultimately converging on Israel will lead to Russia's undoing, along with many other nations when they gather against Israel... and this is when I believe it ultimately goes nuclear.  Exactly how that eventuates, I do not know; perhaps a standoff from which everybody refuses to back away is my best guess, maybe between western forces against Russia and China, perhaps Russia and China will also be at each other's throats.  There are countless scenarios to consider so I would reckon that it is best to wait and see how the relationships in the political and military arenas of all parties develops over this year and the next.

 

It seems to me that the great war will occur in the midst of the time of the two witnesses because both these things appear in the period of the sixth trumpet, the second woe, in the book of the Revelation to John.  There are, however, a number of events which must precede the second woe, so that my expectation is that the great war will not occur before something like late 2026 or some time in the following year or two, and I also believe it will be a war of comparatively short duration when considering previous global conflicts, maybe something like 18 months to 2 years.  Of course, as always, I remind you that I am making no claim to having some kind of special prophetic insight and this could all be completely wrong... but don't count on it.  I certainly won't.  The best we can hope for now, apart from going through this with Christ, is that it comes much later on and, if one is old enough, one gets to live out his or her life before this all goes down but, again, don't count on it.  There are too many indicators suggesting that we really are in that time spoken of in Revelation.

 

No nation which engages in this war will remain intact.  Thus, even though Australia is geographically remote to all these events, if it engages in this conflict, and I think it will, then it will suffer terrible consequences.  I fear for my own nation, for we have Godless fools in power, openly anti-Christian moral morons who cannot tell their left foot from their right hand, cowardly capitulators to the globalist money powers, worthless, spineless, blind and perverse, always grasping at every opportunity to extend their oppressive control over the nation's people, and it troubles me deeply that it is the people who chose such obvious idiots...  I guess that such a culture really does not deserve to live.  I feel sad.

 

When it comes to humanity's self-destructive tendencies, mankind has never been able to develop a technology which has some potential military application without first using it to create ever more devastating weaponry to destroy his fellow human beings in the pursuit of ephemeral gain, power and ever-expanding control over others, constantly driven on by relentless anxiety and the fear of death.  This is the nature of man without God, the spirit we call, Satan.

 

As I keep saying, and reminding not only you, dear reader, but also myself, respectfully fear and worship God alone, and trust God, not man.  Never put your faith in fallen man, but only in the one who is above all, Yeshua, the Christ, our Lord, our saviour, our true king, and from ancient days our creator and, thus, the author and finisher of our faith.

Farmers are shutting down Germany, billionaires are rushing to finish their mega-bunkers this year because there is apparently going to be some kind of "event", there is talk of assassinating Trump, Ukraine is in a diabolical mess, the USA is threatening war with Iran and probably everyone else who does not kowtow to their banksters, Russia is likely well into its plans to invade Europe, China is eyeing off Taiwan and probably half a dozen other nations, North and South Korea are engaging in escalating hostilities and sabre-rattling, WHO is pushing ahead hard with its plan to rule and micromanage the entire world, western nations are descending ever more rapidly into utter chaos and deep divisions, the pope is showing his true pagan colours by "blessing" unions of utter abomination and the Catholic chuch is on the rocks as is just about every denomination, US debt is beyond comprehension and there is absolutely no way in this universe it can be paid so a global crash is looming, WW3 is likely within a few years, and I could go on and on and on... but, d'you know what?  So what!!  This kind of global psychosis was completely expected and I also expect it to grow worse ever more quickly because we really are in the end times before the return of the Lord.  We just have to ensure that we are firmly established on the eternal rock of salvation and not on the quicksand of perdition... and the rest is up to Him.  Commit your ways to Him and he will establish the thoughts of your heart, the directions you will find yourself taking, but, always remember, even if it sometimes seems to go sideways on you, perhaps His plan is better than yours.  I know He uses everything to our ultimate benefit, even the bad, and that is not just something I have read but is based on personal experience.

Offence, on my part, is unintentional but in today's climate of compulsory exacting mental absenteeism it would seem that offence is inexorably unavoidable.  Merely opening one's mouth these days seems to draw the ire of all manner of federal fops more concerned with the fleeting thoughts of defenseless denizens of ancient philosophical thoughtscapes than do the transgressions of megalomaniacal global destroyers of life and obfuscators of truth.  Far too many delicate egos constructed like toilet tissue origami scaffolding in the typhoon tropics.  A skinless breed of Leninbots and Marxbots fleeing the stinging rays of the light of truth, scampering like roaches into dark corners and under rugs, and all masturbating each other with their glibbery virtue signalling in congratulations of their self-superiority in all fields of endeavour... except those in the real world... and to think that I was once on the side of the left!  Admittedly, that was a long time ago, when the left still meant something, and I was very young and, as with all young people, young and dumb, though I cannot say that I was ever drawn to Marx and his mindless minions.  Such never elicited praise from me.  Once upon a time, the left cared about people, or did they really?  Those drawn into it thought so but, in truth, the heart of the left is envy and covetousness... and careful examination of the exposed character of the most renowned leftists through the eyes of others who personally knew them reveals the truth... it always has been.

Ideology, really of any kind, the belief that one can comprehend the uber-complex real world through a mere handful of childish simplisms, is for children, perhaps even only infants.  That there are people who never grow out of such a mindset only shows us how absurdly retarded human culture has become, particularly in the west.  It deserves to... no... needs to... die.

The fear of God is the true beginning of wisdom, and that respect for God by respecting His law, a perfect reflection of His character, ensures one will never be drawn into the web of deceit that is today's hyper-divisive politics.  People are people, both good or bad, righteous or wicked, no matter the culture or creed, clan or continent.  Ideas, however, have a life of their own and can destroy a human being in the blink of an eye.  Adam really did die on the day when he ate of that embittering fruit, and all of us with him but, thanks to our true and merciful God, we have life again in Christ.  God's mercy I will never deserve, but His forgiveness is there for all.  Trusting Him is up to us.

War and Numbers

Prepare for war!  Gird your loins, put on your armor, don your helmet, take up your shield and your sword, and off to war we go!  Got any nukes handy by any chance?  Preferably thermonukes but the purely fission variety will do in a pinch.

 

It does not bode well for western nations, not well at all, because it is primarily the western nations which comprise the beasts and those affiliated with the beasts.  Those of us who have foolishly aligned ourselves with the USA which is the second beast (two horns like a lamb but speaks like a dragon, that is, gives the appearance of a nation with great power and Christian culture but is a liar, speaking in the natural tongue of the dragon) will likely suffer the same fate as that beast.  I know that Los Angeles will be taken out in the middle of the night, that one I have already seen many years ago.  Likely also attacked will be New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Dallas, and perhaps other major urban centres.  If I was living in any of those places then I would be leaving very shortly.  My "gut" tells me that we will not see this decade out before WW3.  The current incarnation of the first beast, the mostly Vatican-controlled WEU and locally allied nations, and its eastern counterpart, the beast that comes up from the abyss, the Islamic nations of the middle east, will also suffer a similar fate, though I do not know that middle eastern nations of largely Islamic believers will necessarily suffer nuclear attacks, the reason being that the only nation to have ever used nuclear weapons in wartime against another nation is the USA.  He who lives by the sword will die by the sword.  Likely both the USA and large parts of the Eurasian continent will be glowing eerily in the dark by the time this is all over.  Maybe even Australia will be hit, but I am not so certain of that one (and, from a personal perspective, I hope not, but the possibility does seem to linger).

There is a lot of hope, I would posit false hope, about reviving the USA and restoring it to its former glory, particularly before it became so corrupted with greed and a lust for power over all the world.  I do not expect it to happen.  It will retain significant power though nowhere near all of it, but the idea of a free people nation is gone, now in the dustbin of history.  It seems there has never been an honest government in the USA since the days of the ill-fated JFK, if not earlier.  In reality, since the banksters took over early in the 20th century, the USA was already lost.  All of its thriving since then appears really to have been for the advantage of the globankster criminal cabal whose current goal is total and absolute global control and micromanagement of every single human being, machine, patch of land, ounce of water, erg of energy and every single resource on this planet.  To them we are merely another resource to use and then discard when done, merely numbers.  That type of delusional thinking is the fruit of the complete rejection of the creation account given to us by God through Moses and its substitute belief in time and chance, a world with no meaning, no purpose and no pre-existing destiny, the world of the evolution of mindless matter.

Did you ever wonder why the Lord was angry with king David for numbering his fighting men?  The obvious reason is that he was failing to trust God for their needs in times of war but it is not so obvious when, in other parts of the bible, we read of one census or another, the numbering of all manner of people, including fighting age men, musicians, priests, and so forth.

So, it appears to be a sin to reduce humanity to numbers for certain kinds of purposes.  What kinds of purposes and why?  A human being is made in the image of God and, as such, every single human being, though finite, is unique, because God is unique.  Would you dare treat God as a mere digit on a computer?  It is all very fine to number people for purposes that serve those people but the sin comes when we number people for the purposes of controlling and using them, which reduces them to resources and makes them all common and alike, discarding the reality that each and every one is made in the image of God regardless of how corrupted that person has made that image, for God still sees what He made as well as what it has made of itself.  Numbering of people for the purpose of using them is a sin because it reduces people to the status of deterministic automatons whose existence is to serve the state, which is anathema before the truth, but numbering people for the purpose of serving those people is not a sin because such numbering is really intended for calculation of the required resources for the service of those people, so such numbering is not really numbering of people but numbering of resources.  We must be careful to never reduce individual human beings to statistics and mere resources.

This particular sin occurs not only in the secular world (which it does to an unimaginable extent) but also in "churchianity".  There is a big difference between counting congregants in order to know how much tea and coffee to provide and how many chairs to set out, as opposed to counting people in order to know how much money you are going to receive as offerings.  The former serves the people individually but the latter uses the people, disregarding them individually, in order to serve the coffers and those who have access.  How many "evangelists" seek to fatten their congregations with ever increasing nunbers of people for their own financial purposes or for fame and the power and money it brings?  In my view, I suspect that God sees the tiny gathering of faithful believers at somebody's home as being easily as important as the gathering of many thousands of people at a so-called "mega-church" and, in fact, perhaps more valuable in a certain sense, regarding the servitude of the individuals towards God, because such tiny congregations have not yet been corrupted by the influences of financial gain.  Those who are wed to wealth become hard as stone, unable to change, for the comforts and ease that wealth brings makes them forget God and their purposes in serving Him and become completely consumed with self-interest... with the consequent desire to fill ever larger, ever more palacial buildings with ever greater numbers of financial contributors, an undifferentiated collective bringing in the dough rather than individuals in need of help or even salvation.  Little wonder that king David asked the Lord to make him neither too poor lest he resort to theft to feed himself nor too rich lest he forget the Lord.  Many "churches", it would seem, have largely forgotten the Lord.

So, having apparently run off on a tangential topic, what has this all to do with WW3?  Simple, really.  Man thinks he can win wars based on numbers - numbers of warplanes, warships, tanks, guns, bombs, missiles, infantry, pilots, sailors, analysts working in the back rooms, industries manufacturing the weapons, support from allies, and so on and so forth.  That may actually be, to some extent, true where all sides are similarly estranged from God but such circumstances also mean utter devastation for all sides no matter the way the war goes.  Man foolishly trusts in his own power, using numbers, to not only create numerous weapons and train numerous fighters but also, to compute the resources needed under the misguided belief that numbers are what really counts, altogether forgetting that it is God who decides the direction of the war and the direction of the world; man has become a worshipper of mere mechanistic numbers - we see this in the corruption of governments, science, and all manner of "learned" institutions and the medical field.

Can you see how it is that the Lord God will be seen as glorious when He conquers all nations?  None of them actually trust in Him... but I do and I hope that you do, also.

This coming great war, a war that will truly end all wars, and like all other wars in the past century or more, will be driven by an insatiable lust for wealth and power, control of resources and the use of humanity as mere cattle and chattel, as weapons of war no more valuable than a mortar shell or a cannon, mere numbers on a spreadsheet.  That the people involved, which will be a very large part, or perhaps most, of humanity, have departed from God and are willing to be nothing more than mere numbers on their government's abacus, numbers awaiting to be marked by the beast and become the eternal possession of the fallen one, to be used as one uses a rag and throws it away when done just because they have hoped in mankind rather than God, means that most of humanity will likely be destroyed.  Perhaps that destruction will, for many, come sooner than the mark and, in doing so, there may yet be some hope for many of them, as there was for the man on the cross next to the Lord when, during the final hours of his life, the Lord said to him, "Today, you will be with Me in paradise."

Trust God, not numbers and not man, but trust God alone.

 

 

When the Righteous Depart

I received word this morning that an uncle in Spain has passed away, a good, exceedingly kind and merciful, God-fearing man.  He is the last and the youngest of my father's siblings, my father having himself passed away over 17 years ago.  They were a large family of mostly brothers and a few sisters, now all gone.  They were all righteous, God-fearing men and women, some more so than others but all good people, all walking according to the decrees of God, though imperfectly, still always discerning the right from the wrong, understanding which their parents instilled in them as children.  Now they are all together again... and I cannot help but think of this...

Isa 57:1-2 KJV  The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.  (2)  He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

I had this feeling, for some time now, that this was just around the corner, this anxiety that, upon the passing of the last of my father's clan, the horrors of the tribulation would begin in earnest.  For some reason, January 11/12 next year seems to be on my mind... perhaps it's nothing, I don't know.  One has these kinds of days once in a while, days when one awakens from many strange dreams over many nights, dreams which leave one astonied, perplexed, even anxious.  My life here has become very strange, almost alien to me.  I do not recognise this world at all, so far has it departed from the world in which I grew up, so profound is the abyss into which it has headlong plunged, drowning in an overwhelming ocean of lies, deceit, delusion, insanity, psychosis, a complete departure from truth, from reality, madness personified, to wit, we are witnessing the mind of Satan.  These are the conditions for the rise of the son of perdition, these are the days of the end of the age, of that I have little, if any, doubt.

Take heed when the righteous pass on from this mortal world, from this place of confusion, from this Babylon... ah, Babylon the Great, how short are your days now.  I will sing at your death, I will never bemoan you, I will dance on your ashes and then I will forget you forever and forever and ever.

Trust God, not man, for goodness sake not man!  The fear of God is truly the beginning of real wisdom.

A Rambling Rant - The World Has Gone NUTS!

Do I need to prove to you the widespread existence of anti-Semitic hatred that has been hiding in the hearts of so many?  Obviously not!  However, what did surprise me was the level of Jew hatred that has shown its ugly mug here in Australia.  Sure, I knew there was some, it's everywhere... but... but... the extent to which it has gripped this nation is astonishing!  Really, I should not be surprised that since Australia completely left the cover of God's law then the influx of people adhering to that demonic-minded belief system full of oppression, hatred and violence (which I shall not name but you know what it is, that beast which comes up from the bottomless pit) has hugely increased and their threatening influence is so excessive now that they get away with all manner of law-breaking with hardly a peep out of the police or the government.  Australia is surely in rapid decline.  As with other western nations which have foolishly fallen prey to the beliefs of the globalist materialists, the increasing division is accelerating the demise of modern civilisation... but then, with a heart as rotton as a one-week-old cadaver putrefying in the desert sun, there really is no surprise.

 

We know that, despite the evils of Israel, it is still a nation of God's promise, for He never breaks His oath and he made a promise to Abraham that whoever curses Abraham, and by extension his descendents, will be cursed by God and whoever blesses Abraham and thus his descendents will be blessed by God.  Which descendents, though?  I would argue it must be those who kept the faith of Abraham.  One could argue that it applies only to the spiritual descendents of Abraham but, from observations of history and in spite of the suffering over the millennia of the remnant of ancient Israel, the Jewish nation, we see that it is not Christians who are unconditionally blessed in the present world, not at all, but the Jews who, wherever they go, do so well or, at least, that is the case until the Jew-hating demonic spirit takes hold of the people around them, which it appears to do time and time again.  After all, why do demons hate those people so much more than anyone else?  Through them came the Messiah, through them came God's law and promises, through them came the hope of the world and through them will come God's government on Earth.  As the Lord said, salvation is of the Jews.  Remember that the twelve apostles, who are twelve Jews and the original Christians, are twelve chief justices, each one presiding over 12,000 regional justices scattered all over the world and they are all under the rulership of Christ... that is the structure of the government to come.  Little wonder that the devil so desperately wants to rid the world of those people for, in doing so, not only would he destroy the hope in God's promises for israel but he would also utterly destroy the hopes of all Christianity for, if the Jewish nation ceases to be then why wouldn't their spiritual counterpart, Christianity?  Clearly, as God is God and the devil is not, such a plan can never succeed.  Oooooh it must be so deeply irritating and frustrating to that old serpent, so horrible to him but so inevitable.  It would be like having your head thoroughly super-glued to a rail as a freight train was coming down the track, the outcome so utterly inevitable.

 

As noted in a previous post, this is all about bringing the crop to full maturity, the righteousness of the righteous out in full view and the wickedness of the wicked out in full view, bringing completely out into the open all that is hiding in each and every heart, so that when the harvesters come then they will make no mistakes.  First, the weeds to be gathered and bundled together to be destroyed and only then the gathering in of the wheat.

 

However, there is much to pass through before we reach that place, before the day of the Lord comes, so much must we endure and many will not reach that day, perhaps as many as one in two or three people.  The events of the past couple of years are dramatic and we see an ongoing escalation of drama, with each new catastrophe, whether war or natural disaster, outstripping previous events in suddenness, sometimes also in extent, and then followed by an apparent lull.  So acclimated to the craziness of it all do we become that the intervening periods seem almost calm, though they are anything but calm.  So, upon each new drastic event, do not consider it in the light of other recent events but instead in the light of events at least a decade or more ago.  Then you will gain a better sense of how truly dramatic each event really is and you will also get a much better sense of the words of the Lord, wherein He described the events of the last days as being like birth pangs, each stronger than the last, with each interval shorter than the previous.

 

It is always difficult to estimate what is about to come, often being not much better than a guess.  We do eventually gain twenty-twenty hindsight when we finally properly understand the fulfillment of scriptural prophecy in a historical context, but then we're still left wondering exactly where we are in that prophetic narrative of scripture.  However, what we do not need to wonder about is whether or not God can be trusted.  The creator of all and the author and finisher of our faith can be completely trusted, no matter how difficult it appears to us at times.  Not man, but God, trust God.

Stumped by UFO's

Shortly after 9pm daylight savings time this evening, only just over half an hour ago as I write this post, here in central Victoria, while I was sitting on the front porch and watching the clouds go by lit by the moonlight, I began to wonder about all this UFO phenomena and asked myself, "Would I be afraid if I saw one?"  Only two minutes later, that question was answered.

 

Just before going back into the house, as it was growing cold, I decided to take a brief walk up the driveway to scare off a rabbit that was messing around there and after I chased off the bunny and turned back to the driveway, as I turned to head back to the house, three bright lights in the sky caught my attention.

 

I looked up, toward the south-western sky, not far from overhead, and three bright lights were flying in linear formation, perhaps separated only by a few degrees of arc in the sky from one another, evenly spaced, with one leading, one in the middle and one trailing.  They made no sound, were of essentially the same brightness as each other, were far too bright for satelites (and satelites do not follow each other around in such neat formation), and were heading north east.  As they were almost directly overhead, a smaller light shot off at high speed towards the south east from the trailing light and quickly disappeared.

 

The whole thing lasted for about two to three minutes before they eneterd the shadow of the earth, so it is clear that their brightness was reflected sunlight, not their own light.  They were each as bright as the brightest stars in the sky though not as bright as Venus but perhaps as bright as Jupiter on a good, clear night.  The lights appeared to be a slightly blueish white so I imagine that is an effect of the reflectivity of the metal shells of the craft.

 

The middle one did not appear to be flying as steadily as the other two, with small, somewhat erratic deviations from its central position in the formation, jostling slightly to and fro, left and right, jittering as it were, sometimes a little closer to the leading one, sometimes a little closer to the trailing one, sometimes a little to the left or the right of the main trajectory they appeared to be on.

 

The last time I saw any such phenomenon was when I was about 12 years old, late one night outside in front of my parents' home, in suburban Melbourne.  That was 46 years ago.

Anyway, my question was answered... afraid?  No, but perhaps a touch of anxiety, especially considering I was just thinking about such phenomena which is not something I contemplate much to be honest, and there it was.

We are to expect a growing trend of strange events, but fear nothing of this world.  Fear God and worship Him only.

Addendum 2023-11-05.

 

All too often, when describing such things as written above to someone else, they jump to the conclusion that you have yourself jumped to a conclusion, and they assume that you have not considered any other possibilities first, that you simply leaped immediately to "UFO" as an explanation (which, by its own definition, is actually the lack of an explanation) and that was that... but, of course, they are the ones making the assumptions, all too easy to do when they have not themselves been witness to the events and all too ready to dismiss such things with nary a second thought, in effect implying that the witness to the events is either stupid or gullible or given to delusional flights of fancy.

 

So, I should point out something about my approach to analysis...

 

"UFO" was the very last thing I thought of in spite of my earlier  contemplations.  Being an electronics design engineer with nearly 40 years of experience (i.e. not quite the sort of person one assumes is stupid or delusional), I am highly analytical, thoroughly logical and pedantic when it comes to details.  When I saw those things in the sky, my thoughts immediately turned to all manner of identifiable flying craft, beginning with the most obvious, whether terrestrial craft or spacecraft, and other things such as meteors, asteroids, et cetera, even missiles (God forbid!) among other things.  As I watched, my mind went through each possibility but, as it did, each possiblity was shot down by ongoing observations, strange things unlike anything I have ever seen, until all possibilities known to me were exhausted and then, and only then, I was left with "unidentified flying object", the very definition of what I had seen.

So, a friendly note on this... please be careful of how you react to people who describe such events, particularly people who, for all intents and purposes, are rational and logical and not easily inclined to delusions.  The right question to ask yourself would be, "If this is all a lie, what are they hoping to gain by it?"  Nobody goes around declaring they were witnesses to such things because they want everyone else to think that they are completely insane (that is, unless that person is already short of a few sheep in the top paddock).  So, please be careful with how you treat other peoples' strange experiences.  Otherwise, we only cause them to hide their experiences and we therefore have fewer accounts to go on regarding the signs of the times.  I am not suggesting that you simply believe whatever you hear, only that you do not write it off as nonsense without very careful consideration.

As for those things I saw, I cannot say what they were, I cannot say if they were manmade or something else (personally I lean towards the manmade explanation but, short of adequate evidence, I will not declare it so) and I cannot say who or what was piloting them, if at all.  All I can confidently say is that they were very strange and I could not identify what they were.

A Sapling about this Middle East War

A relatively small and undeveloped post about the war going on over there...

 

I do not believe it is the start of WWIII.  Of course, I could be completely wrong on that but it is my current belief that WWIII will start in an unexpected place and in an unexpected way, and starting in the middle east is hardly what one would call an "unexpected place" or an "unexpected way".

 

Many self-proclaimed "prophecy experts" (and I am unclear on how one earns such a title -- how does one become an expert on understanding events which have not yet occurred?) have stated innumerable times that the final great war will begin involving Israel, but I am of a different view.  I think it will start with an event in one of the Balkan states, or somewhere like that, leading to a preplanned invasion of Europe (specifically targeting Germany) and Turkey by Russia, and later attacks on the USA and perhaps on others by China, all leading to other nations being foolishly drawn into battle and resulting in their own great harm.  Those that avoid engaging in this coming war will probably fare the best.

 

Once it is a global war, it will then converge on the middle east with anti-Israel nations, taking their cue from Russia's trek west across Europe, and bearing down on Israel, which will itself be deserted by its very busy no-longer-so-friendly allies.  Eventually Russia and China will converge towards Israel as their battles elsewhere are flagging, the USA following them into that arena, and a standoff between Russia and the USA for a period will probably ensue.  If it occurs, that standoff will, I believe, eventually culminate in a global nuclear holocaust.  The whole war will probably last between two and three years and the ministry of the two witnesses will either bookend the war or begin during the war, and they will testify of the truth of Christ and His imminent return, with midnight being the darkest hour, the week of the nuclear holocaust.  It will not be long after that, perhaps less than a year, when they are murdered and their resurrection takes place a few days later.  It is shortly thereafter when the third woe and seventh trumpet occur, the return of the Lord, who will have His angels sweep the world clean of the remaining wicked and all that causes sin and then gather His own to himself.

 

Eventually, I will attempt to spell all or most of this out in more detail when (or maybe if?) I have the time to devote to it but, as always, I am not claiming to be a prophet, let alone a "prophecy expert" (whatever the heck that is), and everything herein written could be completely wrong.  Nevertheless, I write it because I believe that views like my own are unheard in the world and that all too many people are easily sucked into the poplular but often deeply misguided beliefs of so many so-called "experts", too many voices claiming to speak for God and yet disagreeing with each other, leading to the secular world seeing God as being somehow schizophrenic and, thus, non-existent, not a real god.   It is a great disservice to the Lord and those who unrepentantly continue on such a path will be held to account for maligning His Great Name.

 

The current war between Hamas and Israel is, I believe, simply setting the stage for the unification of Israel's regional opponents, with political, if not military, support of global powers such as Russia and China, and general opposition to Israel being fomented in extremely anti-Israeli MSM reporting of the horrors of what Hamas has done (mostly silence on that) but exaggerations and outright lies on what Israel does to defend itself.  The world must be brought to the point of standing against Israel for the end to come, for God to be shown gloriously victorious over all the nations.  It is the forces of darkness which are lashing out violently as their demise draws ever closer and, the closer it is, the worse such events will become.  Recall that Islamic states have not been unified for a long time and none of them acting alone has power to overthrow and destroy Israel but they will perhaps come to believe that all together they can.  Of course, the battle goes the way God decides, not men.

 

Trust God, not man, trust only the Ever Living God, our ever-loving heavenly Father.

 

 

A Stump about Censorship

It is growingly and glaringly apparent that the corrupt powers all around the world are desperately trying to implement full internet censorship of information, in particular from entirely independent sources that are not paid by powerful interests and are, in spite of human errors we all make, thus, almost incorruptible.  In their desperation to cling to power, all of which is built entirely on lies which are non-existent nothings that do not offer any real support since only the truth, which is the foundation for reality, can support anything at all, they seek to shut down all alternative voices and, therefore, stifle and destroy all alternative views, that is, all ideas that run contrary to their claims, those being that which attempt to justify their continued oppression, robbery and murder of others.  Independent thought, being that it will, sooner or later, draw nearer to the truth, must be completely curtailed and any person who continues in it must be destroyed.  The flailing, thrashing beast will only grow more desperate to survive and more violent and destructive as it goes to its inevitable, absolutely ineluctable demise.

However, never fear, for Christ Yeshua is the truth and Christ Yeshua has overcome the world and Christ Yeshua is the King of kings and Lord of lords and no false word can stand before Him; every one of them, with their unrepentant purveyers, will be destroyed.  God will not allow the truth to go without a voice for how can reality be voiceless and yet unreality have a voice?  That is a self-contradiction, it is impossible and can only be a momentary illusion... so, as pointed out in a post many moons ago, when all other free voices are silenced then the two witnesses will be that final voice before He returns and not a soul on earth will have the power to silence them.

Fear God, not man, and trust in the reality and truth and wisdom of God and not in the fairytales and foolishness of man.  Hope in the Lord is hope in the immovable Rock of Ages, the eternal, Ever Living God and anchored to that rock makes you immovable, too.  Ask Him to anchor you to Himself, ask with a humble and contrite heart, a heart He always hears, and you will also be built onto the eternal rock.

It occurs to me that people do not consider carefully the outcome of a social credit total surveilance system.  One day, soon enough, the sun is going to decomission that electronic system with a massive and unprecedented CME.  What do you suppose will happen?  A billion adult-sized infants, people who were never allowed to grow normally and had to live as robots, suddenly they are no longer contained and constrained... what do you think will happen?  Violence, looting, murder, arson, terrorism, a completely psychotic mass-rage will break out and nobody will be safe, not a single soul will escape the fury of a billion people who never had to learn right from wrong, never had to learn to do good of their own volition, never had to learn self-imposed selflessness, and only had to be robots to satisfy a purely deterministic mechanism in order to get what they need.  It will be hell on earth... literally.

... just heard about some virus called "nipah".  Deadly, they say... outbreak, they say... started developing an mRNA vaxx for it just last year, they say.  Really?  what an awfully "fortunate coincidence!"... don't ya think?... but you know what I think of supposed coincidences of related matters!  I wonder if this is the one?  Or is there yet another, and another, and so on, like the UN promised, a decade of plandemics?

The Desperately Flailing, Dying Globalist Powers

Back in late April, I wrote a post, entitled, "Here We Go Again".  You may have read it but, if not, I was pointing out that there was evidence that the global psychopaths were readying another plandemic.  At the time it was uncertain what form it would take and I speculated, as did many, that it might be a "bird flu" or some nonsense like that.

Well, now we are seeing it happen in the USA - yet another CoViD... really?  Is this all that the satans, the walking dead, could come up with?  Of course, when this also fails, or only partially succeeds, they still have nuclear war up their sleeves, but look to God, as always, for your future, not to man.

The main reasons should be fairly clear... the UN, that is, the Image of the Beast, has an imperative to establish a global, unelected, unanswerable, irremovable, autocratic, technocratic world government, for its true masters, the money changers, the globanksters, those of the synagogue of satan, a world government in a form described by the WEF's supposed "4th industrial revolution" and "great reset".  As you will recall from Revelation, the Second Beast, that is, the USA, whose head is the corrupt power that currently exists, has an imperative to enforce the diktats of the Image of the Beast, to enforce its rules.  With the upcoming global plandemic "treaty" being the means by which the WHO (a terrorist organisation, a branch of the UN and a sock puppet of the globanksters) will establish initial global control over all submitting populations of the world, but being nothing more than a hollow carcass, part of the fake power of the UN (the power of satan, the power to control by instilling fear through deception), it simply cannot enforce its diktats without a real beast of substance acting in its behalf, not an image, a head without a body such as the UN, but with a body and with power to cause harm, carrying out such tasks.  Thus the need to ensure that the globanksters and their sock puppets stay in power in the USA... which is why you are seeing the return of lockdowns, mask mandates, and so forth.

 

If the wicked cannot fully control the outcome of the upcoming presidential elections, whether by indicting and imprisoning non-deep-state contenders or by impoverishing access to real information on-line or by an MSM tsunami of propaganda, distractions, "multi-crises" as mentioned by the chief satans of the WEF and the UN, or by illegally manipulating electoral results, and so on, there is a very real chance that the WHO, regardless of its so-called "treaty" with other wicked, satanic governments around the world, will be unable to globally enforce its draconian, demonic agenda and the UN, WEF and other bureaucratic ghost monsters will dissolve into the irrelevancy they really have always had.  Their webs of deception will be undone, their power will vanish like a mist in the desert at sunrise, because it was never real, anyway.  They only have power as long as people fall for the lies.  Behind the lies is a void, a blacker than black, empty nothingness, eternal darkness, the spirit of death.

Remember, though, that they are mere humans caught in the snares of that wicked power whose every action is to oppose the Ever Living God.  They are not gods as they seem to think themselves to be and their task, whether they recognise it or not, is to bring right out into the open all the wickedness of their hearts, the true darkness of that spirit called satan, so that it will be finally manifest in the flesh which will be destroyed by the brightness of the coming of the Lord and the fallen ones imprisoned for a thousand years before their trial, and so that all evil intent and action will be fully condemned by its own word and hand.  This disease, the real spiritual disease, needs to be fully purged at the establishment of the millennial reign of Christ and His 144,000 judges, a fresh start, the true great reset.  Remember that the devil, whenever he can, always sets up a red herring, a distracting and deceiving counterfeit of God's plan, ahead of God's true plans... but our almighty God is still on the throne, that will never change, so always look to Him, to Christ our saviour and eternal Lord of lords and King of kings; there is no other Rock, we know not one.

Fear not these flailing, dying beasts, the madness of crowds, the insanity of dead people who can only kill the flesh and then do nothing more.  Fear only Him who created the heavens, the earth and all that truly exists and worship only Him who can destroy, forever, both body and soul in gehenna.

Don't fear silly man, fear the eternal and righteous, infinite God and call on and worship Christ Yeshua in truth and in spirit.

Titanic Failure - Again

If you recall my post in August, last year, entitled, "Clash of the Titans and the Inevitability of WWIII", you will recall that the word, "titan", actually derives directly from, and essentially means the same as, "satan", and yet again it happens, 111 years later (and that number may be significant).

 

I do not wish to implicate the CEO of Ocean Gate for I have no idea of what his character was like.  There are those who say he was arrogant because he persistently dismissed the serious concerns of others working in the same field and, yet, there are others who personally knew him and say that he was not arrogant but was adventurous, though careful.  Whatever the sequence of events that led to such an horrific disaster, I cannot get away from the fact that the vessel's name was "Titan", a boastful name if ever there was one, and literally could be replaced with, "Satan", the name of the spirit of destruction.  Titan implies greatness, power, strength but Satan implies accuser, destroyer, death.  As noted above, if you have read that previous post then you will understand how this difference came to be and that the commonly accepted meaning of Titan is merely a boastful lie.

Something I have noted for many years is that you cannot rid something of its root without destroying the very thing that grew from it.  A tree cannot be transposed without its root, a perfect parable of the concept, so the initial cause or reason of a thing or an idea is always at the heart of everything built on it and cannot be removed without that thing's complete destruction.  Renaming things or redefining names does not change them but can, instead, simply disguise them which is essentially a lie.

What exactly the Titan disaster signifies, I cannot say at the moment, but nor can I assume that there is nothing to consider.  On a first point, it seems that the "re-disaster" is a reminder to the world that man's imagined grandiosity is just that, imagined, and nothing occurs without God's say-so.  In that fact we can be truly grateful to the Ever Living God for all that He has allowed us to accomplish, learn, create and so forth, even trips to the moon.  However, we now live in an age of complete denial of reality, denying the reality of gender, of rightly-ordered male-female relationships, true historical accounts rather than imagined ones designed to incite hatred, rebellion and imagined victimhood, and so forth, ultimately the complete denial of a holy and righteous and just God.  We live in the age of strong delusion and that is a sign that we are seeing the complete fulfilment of some scripture (as always, of course):

2Th 2:8-12 ASV  And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming;  (9)  even he, whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  (10)  and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  (11)  And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie:  (12)  that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Yes, I have quoted that scripture on numerous occasions but only because I believe it is so pertinent to indicating just where we are in the scheme of things.

Consider that it is in the current age that we are seeing the near-complete outworking of that prophecy and, if that be the case, then I am confident that we will soon see the first global public appearances of the son of perdition, called in the above scripture, "the lawless one".  We are most definitely in the age of lawlessness and strong delusion, shortly to be completely fulfilled.

However, it appears to me that the boasts of the Titanic and the Titan and their terrible demise serve as reminders to us all that satan, the spirit which man takes on when separated from God, will be sent to the completely dark and crushing depths of perdition and there is no hope for such, no future whatsoever.  All who do not renounce that spirit and repent and come to the Lord will perish with that completely evil spirit.  I have a gut feeling that, from this time forth or a time shortly to come, whoever continues to completely reject repentance towards God and salvation in Christ will have lost their final opportunity.  The curtain must eventually fall and the signs are indicating that the son of perdition will soon make himself known, as will the two witnesses who will be the ones to make the final call to salvation and complete the great commission.  Those who reject the undeniable evidence of the two witnesses and all that is occurring in the world are lost because they have become utterly devoid of truth so that there is no means to draw them back to God and nor is there anything left worth saving.

Yes, WWIII is inevitable but not terminal for those in Christ.  We are rapidly approaching the darkest hour, some time in the next three to seven years is my guess (but don't trust those figures; assume it is always just around the corner).

 

Trust God, not man and again I say, trust God.

A Stump

I was just listening to some recent guff about Betelgeuse, now something like double its usual brightness, and there's all the talk of it going nova at any time from now to almost forever in the future... and I thought, "What if it went nova on the solstice this month or on some other conspicuous date such as the equinox in the next season or during an eclipse?  Wouldn't that be something all too weird and utterly fantastic?  Would it be a coincidence?  If, having stated it now and considering that thoughts are not random and that the "experts" stack the odds heavily against it happening, would it still be considered an incredible coincidence?"

 

Just thought I would mention it in this stump, you know, because of "signs in the heavens" and such.  I truly do not know what to expect but, really, I would love to see that thing go pop!  It would be spectacular and certainly not only to folks who enjoy astronomy, like me!

 

Anyway, perhaps you might have a look online for yourself, do a search on it for recent videos in the past week or so.  A lot of it is click-bait rubbish with irritating computer-generated voice-over but there are a few gems worth seeing on this topic.

 

We definitely live in interesting times.

By the way, I am wondering about the whole saga regarding the Dome of the Rock and the temple mount and plans for building the temple, having mentioned it (again) last year but seeing no obvious change in the situation since then.  I read somewhere that it is not necessary for a temple to exist in order to reinstate the sacrificial system but my gut feeling is that they definitely want to bring back the temple.  Anyway, it's just a thought in passing.  I still expect some drama to occur there in regards to this whole issue but just when is anybody's guess.

Whatever happens, whether stars or mosques or wars explode, we can always rely on God, so trust God and not man.

Betelgeuse Being Weird Again

It appears that Betelgeuse, a star in the Orion constellation and one of the brightest stars in the night sky, is going rogue again.  This time, rather than dimming as it previously did a few years ago, it has brightened quite significantly.  Nobody has offered up an explanation for this behaviour.

Some theories about its dimming behaviour a few years ago have been proposed, such as dust obscuring the star, or some related phenomena, but nothing has been suggested for the star's recent brightening.  What if the Lord, in order to dispell "scientific theories" about Betelgeuse's recently acquired unpredictable variability, chose to do this to puzzle the learned astronomers and astrophysicists, putting their "wisdom" to shame, while making the statement, "No, this is not merely stellar variability, it is a sign!"?  I am speculating but I think that the idea may be worth some consideration.  It is a variable star but has, for centuries until recently, been quite predictable.

 

Personally, I am expecting a celestial sign of great significance some time soon, one which will mark a brief period before WW3.  This is quite apart from my expectation of a super-Carrington event, which is something I think really will happen, not so much as a sign but more as part of the process here on Earth.  Note that there are historical accounts which suggest that the last time that Betelgeuse changed significantly was around 2000 or more years ago.  Interesting, no?  Whether a sign comes as a massive CME, a comet of unusual size and extreme proximity, a relatively nearby supernova or something else, apart from the Lord, who can say?  However, I am expecting a very significant sign in the sky, and it must be something unprecedented in written records or otherwise it would not act effectively as a unique sign for a unique time in history.  If Betelgeuse went supernova, that would really be a clear sign in the heavens!  Purportedly being only hundreds of light years away and being also a red supergiant, if it went supernova, it could potentially outshine the full moon.  Now that would be a sign!

Whatever signs we see or do not see, we are clearly in the last days.  I strongly recommend that you trust God above all others and all else.
