This brief post is to remind you, even warn you to prepare because this storm has only just begun. I have said it before but thought a timely reminder was in order, not that you have forgotten but only to prompt action, prayer action to begin with, and that will be heard by our faithful, Ever Loving Father as He watches over His family in the tumult to come.
I cannot tell you what you should do, only encourage you to pray, only say that prayer, much prayer is needed. I recall the scripture about the four horsemen of the apocalypse wherein the third horseman appears to represent famine or shortages, that is, much like the old testament scripture of the ancient prophets declaring that God is about to take away "the stay and the staff", meaning He is about to cut off the supply of essential resources such as food. However, the interesting thing about the third horseman's instructions is that they included words effectively saying, "... do not harm the oil and the wine."
Rev 6:6 And I heard as it were a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A measure of wheat for a shilling, and three measures of barley for a shilling; and the oil and the wine hurt thou not.
Whether or not this is literal, spiritual, or both is something to be discussed at another time but, at the very least, we should consider that, since physical reality is really a parable of true, spiritual reality, then we may well be in for shortages or, at least, very high food costs, whether due to shortages or due to artificially pumped up prices caused by the reckless behaviour of politicians regarding delusional "climate mitigation" strategies which, over the years, have resulted in skyrocketing energy costs which are inevitably passed on to everything else. Their impact will be most felt in essentials, such as, primarily, agriculture, and most felt by those least able to afford normal necessities. No surprise there.
Always remember, though, that our focus is to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these (other) things will be added unto us. That essentially means that we should get our prayer priorities right. Prepare yourself in whichever way the Spirit of the Lord leads you because this storm has really only just begun.
