This is a brief post to expose a ridiculous nonsense that is going around the net and has been doing so for some time now. It is regarding the following scripture:
Psa 83:3 ASV They take crafty counsel against thy people, And consult together against thy hidden ones.
The claim being bandied about is that this line referring to "thy hidden ones" is a direct and very specific reference to the two witnesses described in Revelation chapter 11. Where, then, is the scripture that tells us that this verse refers specifically to the two witnesses? If none, then what evidence even suggests this? Simple, quick and concise answer is that there ISN'T such a scripture, or any such evidence! Nothing. Nada. Zilch, Nichts.
So, who are God's hidden ones, then?
These are God's hidden ones, as is clear from the text, because the fact that they are yet to be revealed can only be true if they are hidden to begin with...
Rom 8:19 ASV For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God.
They are hidden as is a child before birth. When they are revealed, the light of God will shine from their faces and, in fact, from their entire bodies, but until then it is hidden within, and so, therefore, is the revelation of exactly who they really are. Yes, the two witnesses are amongst them but the scripture of Psalm 83 does NOT refer exclusively to the two witnesses. As stated in previous posts, the current teachings of the "church" are frequently in very serious error and all the sheeple are blindly following along with it. For goodness sake, don't mindlessly bleat... instead, think, as I am certain you already do or you would probably not read this blog. Thinking is better for your health.
